It is difficult to determine an exact price for your idea before I make a prototype or first sample.  So I look at hundreds (if not thousands) of past projects that were a similar size to your idea, and average out the prices on all of those projects.  With experience ranging back to 1995 in the plush toy business, I am often accurate within a small percentage.

I do what I can to keep the process simple.  This is why I quote one price for all shipping charges.  When I give you a final cost, I’ll give you one quote for the toy and another for shipping.  I keep the shipping charge separate as it can vary quite a bit depending on if I am shipping to a dock level warehouse or a 10th-floor office building.

For the majority of my shipping quotes: ocean shipping, insurance, DDC charges, dock fees, customs inspection (if required) brokerage, bonded release, and duties are all included in your “ground shipping” price.
